A collaboration between P A L O S A N T O and Smyth House Interiors, the Copal pendant reflects a shared vision for timeless design and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Each pendant is handcrafted from locally sourced clay from the highlands near Guadalajara, Mexico. Shaped and refined by hand inside a multigenerational ceramic taller, artisans sculpt each form, carve its negative space, and finish every surface with meticulous care. The piece is then fired in a traditional kiln, sealing its natural texture and tone.
Subtle variations in tone and texture are inherent to the handmade process, making each piece uniquely its own.

Copal Lighting Collection emerged from a shared philosophy between Smyth House and Palo Santo: that the objects we live with should be chosen thoughtfully, made intentionally, and meant to be enjoyed over time.

All lighting is made-to-order. Lead time for Copal lighting is 10-12 weeks. This relates to production time only.
All lighting pieces ship from Texas via a third-party freight carrier. Shipping is not included in the listed price and will be quoted once your order is prepared. As these are freight deliveries, an appointment will be scheduled in advance to ensure a smooth delivery experience.
